Find Labels You Can Trust With NRDC Simple Steps

With the barrage of labels applied to food, personal care products, cleaning products and other goods, how can you distinguish reliable label claims from those that can’t be counted on? Label Lookup uses an easy, three-leaf system to separate those claims you can trust in your purchases from those you’ll want to leave on the shelf.

• Covers Food, Personal Care Products, Cleaning Products, Paper, Paint and Wood with evaluations and descriptions of 169 labels.
• Look up claims By Label to find a quick evaluation of claim at the store
• Look up labels By Product to pick out those that meet your lifestyle needs.
• Every label includes an evaluation according to our three-leaf rating system, a description of the label drawn from the certifier or regulator (where they exist), a label image and a link to the certifier website for more details.
• All evaluations are based on EPA, USDA, the California South Coast Air Quality Management District, Consumer’s Union and certifier websites
