Written in 1853 by the legendary “Father of American Beekeeping” Rev. L. L. Landstroth, this book was the standard for many years for the practise of beekeeping.
Landstroth was the inventor of the Langstroth hive, a design that, with its movable frames, revolutionised the apiary business, and is still in widespread use today. This design of hive is discussed within this work.
