It’s happened to the best of us: a long night out leads to a phone call we wish we could take back. Now, Don’t Dial! offers iPhone owners a way to prevent these drunken mistakes before buying the first round.
Don’t Dial! is an app that allows users to block tempting contacts – the boss, the ex – for up to 24 hours. As soon as the block is set, the selected digits and email addresses vanish from the iPhone’s contact list until the time (and the effects of the alcohol) has passed.
Users also have the option of letting a “designated dialer,” such as a trustworthy friend or co-worker, lock up risky contacts with a password.
