Being caught in a bad situation is a fear we all have, yet have little control over. iDistress is an application that will allow you to get help quickly and easily. Have peace of mind with iDistress!
Features:
– With a flick of a finger, iDistress will notify emergency personnel and up to three of your close contacts (via SMS and email) that you are in need of help
– Sends your location down to the street number with the email containing a link to a map that will pinpoint your location
– For world travelers, the application automatically updates the local emergency number for the country you are in
– Eliminates dialing errors in high pressure or injury situations
– The application works world-wide
– No monthly costs!
How it works?
After opening the app for the first time, you can enter up to three SMS and email contacts that will receive your iDistress notification if the app is ever activated.
When the app is activated, it will send out an emergency message to your contacts via SMS and email containing your present location, while simultaneously dialing 911 (or any other number of your choice).
Each email will contain a link to a map. This will allow your contacts to view your location from a desktop or smartphone.
