Works best on iPhone 4 because it has a camera flash. On iPhone 3GS it has to be used with good lighting.
Results on iPhone 3GS are equally accurate, it’s just harder to use since you need good lighting.

iPod touch 4G support is not tested yet.

NOTE: Make sure that your fingertip completely covers the camera lens. Press gently, since pressing too hard reduces blood flow in your finger and it’s harder to get a result.

I doubted the accuracy at first, but just got a polar HRM with chest strap, and can vouch this app is in perfect sync w my HR after 10-12 sec. Amazing
