LightboxHD is a unique application that allows users to showcase and compare photographs and other images directly through their iPad. A number of practical tools to help aide users when presenting images through this app are offered as well.
The application has four main modes. The most basic of these four modes, Single Mode, allows users to view one image in full screen. The app’s Split and Side by Side modes allow users to critique two images at once, with Split mode enabling users to adjust how much of the iPad’s screen a given image takes by sliding the mode’s interactive dividing line back and forth. This feature affords users the ability to display one image more prominently than another when comparing two images at once. Lastly, LightboxHD’s Blend mode allows users place two images atop one another and dynamically blend in and out between them.
This is an amazing app, very professional, clean, and useful. The blend mode does require a bit of practice and an artistic eye however.
