Particle Art is exactly what it’s name says. An app which empowers the user to manipulate streams of particles through a simple but yet powerful interface in order to create… Well, art!
Manipulate the source of the emitter and wiggle it around generating pretty patterns, adjust the color, texture, particle velocity by pinching the screen, add forces (like gravity) and other.
The goal was to make the app an equal playground for everyone, thus it is based on OpenGL ES 1.1. 3GS users will get a performance boost because of the superior hardware, however the experience shouldn’t change based on the device used.
The development doesn’t end here because this app is going to evolve with time, with planned content updates going out periodically. Which are, of course, free of charge. If you have some reasonable ideas, perhaps you should send some suggestions via e-mail. If it seems feasible, it’ll probably get implemented.
