Things is a beautifully focused and amazingly intuitive task manager. Other todo applications either oversimplify or are too difficult to use. Things instead offers the perfect balance between ease of use and powerful features.

Effortlessly manage to-dos, notes, due dates, and projects. A smart today list and the scheduling feature allow you to work as effectively as possible – every day.

You can even sync wirelessly with the desktop version of Things (sold separately) using Wi-Fi.

Join the thousands of iPhone and iPod touch users who have made Things the most popular paid to-do manager in the App Store.

Visit our web site for a screencast to find out exactly how Things works.

“If Things sounds simple, that’s because it is. Other to-do list managers I’ve tried have, quite honestly, gotten in the way of me getting things done. Things doesn’t do that. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” —, ★★★★

Great app. I live by it.

  • benhomie

I use Things everyday, good thing is that almost all functions are useful, making the experience fulfilling. My first and probably the last full featured GTD app.

  • kane

Great app. Lots of time spent thinking about how it should work. Syncing with the desktop version makes this a must have app for me. Has one of my 4 dock spaces along with PictureDialer.

  • zforrester

    Just bought it!
Things is the sexiest task manager I’ve ever seen.

And now, having said that, I feel like taking a time machine back in time and warning young zforrester that eventually he’ll grow into someone who accurately determines the sexyness of task managers.

    Pity me.

  • roylance

Great app, use it every day on the MacBook Pro and iPhone.

    • maximilion

      It is really great!

  • dschoon

Love it. Over the air syncing is fantastic; great interface; rich functionality. Biggest plus: dev team is highly active, with regular updates coming every few weeks. Huge improvements from release, well worth more than ten bucks.

  • antidigerati

My most used iPhone app. The sync-with-desktop functionality is awesome.

  • coconut

@coconutchris … Great app.. Use it daily ninth in my mac and iPhone
Really waiting for tags to come to TT version

  • steelie

I admittedly don’t have a iPhone or Touch yet but I use the desktop all the time and have *ahem* already purchased the iPhone version for when the time comes.

    Great application.
    Thanks CC!

    • jjmancini

Ha! That is pretty stinkin’ funny. I think you should have put that money towards the iPhone first. Although I admire your commitment to Things.

  • funkaoshi

I bought this application as soon as it came out: best GTD application for the phone i’ve found thus far.

You have this listed under Free Apps, but it is not close to being free.

    • brandontreb

Where does it say free? It says that its $9.99 right in the info box…

  • s3b

@jjmancini Was hesitating spending $50 for the complete things-thing as well (iPhone/MacBook). But just for the notes: ToDo only runs with RTM Pro which also comes at $25. RTM itself only provides a web-frontend, where you cannot edit/modify your todos offline.
I keep on looking for an alternative though…

    • jjmancini

That is true… but it is not super important for me to have offline access on my home computer. Because I’m always online and its not a laptop. But I do really appreciate the design and idea of things.

But how about this? Once Things is officially released, the mac version will go up another $10. So you have 2 months to purchase and save $10. They are sure asking a lot…

  • jjmancini

I never bothered trying out things. i was apart of the desktop beta version, It was great, but when it was released, it was $39 bucks. And the iPhone app is $10. So keep in mind it is a $50 commitment before you have a to do list. It just seems a little steep. Especially because is free, and you can sync it with the $4.99 version of todo (Another iPhone App). So I think I’ll stick with that for now.

  • brandontreb

This app looks pretty cool. I’m going to have to check it out…

  • doritc

I’m sure, as soon as I own a Mac, I’ll also use the desktop version. So far, it’s already very useful as a stand alone iPhone app for me, as carrying the task list with me makes it easier to track home related tasks, were I’m not at a computer all the time.
